Thickness
Quartz Tiles come in 2 thicknesses: either 10mm to 12mm depending on choice and availability. It's important to ensure you use the same thickness throughout your tiling project
Porosity
Unlike ceramic tiles that can be quite porous except for the surface glaze; our low water absorption quartz is more like glass. It absorbs only 0.02% water and thus great for bathrooms, kitchens and high humidity areas
Colours
Well! as a manufactured product they come in a wide range of colours from the popular black quartz, white quartz and cream-beige tiles to the trendy red quartz, blue, and earth browns. We don't just sell cream although that is one of our most-popular tile colours

Its really a personal choice. If you want to seal your quartz tiles its OK
Underfloor Heating
Quartz tiles are very stable and hard wearing in normal use but are not suitable for use with underfloor heating systems
Scratch Resistance
Here's the thing, resin content and quartz content also tend to equate to scratch resistance (and stain resistance). Many cheap tiles contain as little as 92% quartz or 8% binder. Our tiles have 95% quartz but more significantly much lower binder hence more quartz better durability and better scratch resistance.
